# PurePath

> PurePath is a free interactive OSRS Pure guide for Old School RuneScape: a progress-saving 1 Defence pure quest and skill route, a Grand Exchange starting buy list, and a 1 Defence gear planner.

PurePath is for **OSRS pures** (accounts that stay at 1 Defence). The default plan is a maxed 1 Defence pure at 60 Attack and 52 Prayer (Smite). Alternate Attack caps are 50 (granite maul) and 60 (dragon scimitar / Arkan blade). Alternate Prayer caps are 43 (Protect), 45 (Eagle Eye / Mystic Might), and 52 (Smite).

Progress is saved in the browser. There is no account system. The site is a fan-made planning aid and is not affiliated with Jagex. Always verify quest rewards before claiming them; several quests award Defence XP and will ruin a 1 Defence build.
